ULearn Unconference Sharing

Cherryl started this open source wiki for loading our resources on. It is open to anyone to add and I am monitoring it for additions.

The ULearn Unconference venue is Brightwater School. It will start at 10:00am on Saturday 13 November with coffee and light refreshments and finish at lunch time. The idea is that we invite all teachers from both Link Learning and Whakatu Cluster to join and share. People come along and indicate which sessions they would like to attend and we share our new learning and reflection from ULearn with others in informal groups sharing just around your computer if it is a small group or in a separate room if your group is larger. The concept is new for Nelson but has been found to be an effective way of sharing and learning in other centres. Here is the link to the ULearn Unconference Google Doc and an embedded version. If you would like to lead a session please add your name to a couple of topics that you would be happy to lead conversations about- you don't have to have attended ULearn to lead a session. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1L_j9FBMWAQOes-aKsIoo46N_cB0c35F7_Czpg35-4ds/edit?hl=en&authkey=CJyD3PgI

It should be a fun and non-threatening way to share with others who were not able to attend. Here is what Ewan McIntosh has to say about sharing.

We have a moral imperative to share our learning with others. Dean Shareski shares his keynote for the K12 On Line Conference. As professional development for your staff the K12 Online Conference is a great free resource that is available year round and it is on now. You can see also see free and open presentations back over the last four years as well. All available for downloading or viewing on line.
